I already talked about this a little last week, but wow last month was a dumpster fire. I had the hardest time paying attention to anything so unfortunately I had to scrap my TBR. It made me really sad to do that but I didn’t want my mood to affect my feelings for a book. Instead, I did a few rereads and thankfully, they really helped me get back on track.
Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
Overall I did really like this book. I love the characters so much and I enjoyed learning more about them. The last 150 pages were incredible and has me very excited for the third book. My only issue was that there was SO much going on and I didn’t know where exactly the story was going.
The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James
This was my first time reading an adult thriller and I was NOT disappointed! Full review is coming soon.
Woven in Moonlight bu Isabel Ibañez
This was a pretty solid debut. The writing was beautiful and the magic was interesting. I will say it was a tad predictable, but still enjoyable!
The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
If I could give this book 100 stars I would. This was a reread for me and I forgot how much I loved the characters. I don’t know if Becky Albertalli somehow knew me in high school because I swear this story was written about me. I was Molly and Molly was me. I so wish this book was around during my teenage years.
Nevermoor: The Trails of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend
Another reread! I needed to refresh my memory before continuing to the sequel. This time around I decided to bump it up to 5 stars because it really is that great!
Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend
I LOVED this! I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on this series. It’s so much fun. I can’t wait for the third book! I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrator is absolutely incredible. She really brings life to the characters.
Have you read any of these books?? How was your reading in March??
