March Book Haul

Remember last month when I said I was going on a book buying ban?? Welllll I had every intention to follow that, but then the coronavirus happened. My stress level has been through the roof and apparently I relieved that stresss by buying books. Oops!

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver
My March BOTM pick.

The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware
My BOTM add on. I am taking full advantage of those $9.99 books.

Spirit by Brigid Kemmerer
This is the third book in the Elemental series.

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Up until last week I have never really been interested in this book. I don’t know what changed my mind about it, but here we are.

The Whisper Man bu Alex North
I honestly don’t know anything about this book besides it’s about catching a serial killer. The cover is what really draws me in!

The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen
Not going to lie, the cover intrigues me.

The Dark Vault by Victoria Schwab
This is the bind up of The Archived and The Unbound. A few weeks ago author Stephanie Garber was doing an amazing giveaway. You had to buy any book from an indie bookstore and then she would send you a foreign edition of the Caraval series. I thought this was such a cool idea and a great way to support indie stores during this crazy time. So this was the book I purchased from Parnassus Books!

The Kingdom of Back bu Marie Lu
The book pick for Owlcrate’s March box.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
This is the Barnes & Noble hardcover edition. I have been wanting this for such a long time!

Yes No Maybe So bY Becky Albertalli & Aisha Saeed
I have heard amazing things about this book! I’m also a huge Becky Albertalli fan so I can’t wait to read this!

Havenfall by Sara Holland
I got to read an ARC and I really loved the story so I definitely had to get myself a finished copy!

The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh
I have been interested in this book since it’s announcement. I know that it was pitched as the return of vampires but it failed to meet that expectation, I am a little nervous about that but I am still going into the story hoping to love it.

What books did you haul last month??

  1. Have you seen the solid red edition of Red Queen at Barnes and Noble? It’s SO beautiful, that I’m so tempted to grab it every time I see it! I hope you end up enjoying the series! Maybe we should buddy read The Beautiful at some point?!
