Goodbye 2019, hello 2020!
It’s a new year and that means it is time to set some goals!
➸ Read 50 books:
I am setting my reading goal pretty low this year. I just want to focus on reading and not stressing about the amount I need to read. I can definitely hit 50 books, no problem!
➸ More ebooks:
I am surprised that this one is on the list. Back in November my TBR consisted only of ebooks. I was really dreading it because I have never been much of an ebook reader. To my surprise though, I really enjoyed reading on my iPad. It is quick and super convenient. So I definitely want to choose this format more in the new year.
➸ Monthly wrap ups:
I don’t know if you noticed, but I completely stopped doing wrap ups last year. There isn’t a good reason why I did that, it just happened. I am hoping to bring them back though!
➸ Follower Goal:
By the end of 2020, I want to reach 200 followers on my blog and 1200 followers on my bookstagram! I am aware that I have little control over this goal, but I still like setting it. To me, it’s fun to see how far you come in a years time. I also feel like it motivates me to create unique content that people will hopefully like and will make them want to stick around for more.
➸ Be consistent:
Just like my bookstagram, I want to post 3x a week on my blog. I feel like that is definitely a reasonable amount for me.
➸ Step out of my comfort zone:
I am a pretty shy person, so I tend to hang around in the background a lot. I am hoping to change that in 2020 though! This year I am going step out of my comfort zone. There are a ton of ways I plan to do this. I want put myself out there more. I want to get more involved in the book community. I want to make more bookish friends. I want to comment on other bookworm’s posts even if it makes me nervous. I want to show my face in Instagram stories even if I’m scared of what people my think of me. The list goes on and on.
I am really excited for what this year has in store. What are some goals you have set for yourself?
