Goodreads TBR #5

Hi everyone!

This is a series where every other month I share 3-4 books that I’ve recently added to my *want to read* shelf on Goodreads! I always add a little snip it of the synopsis, but if you’d like more information on any of these books, I have linked all of their GR pages!

Well Met by Jen DeLuca

Emily knew there would be strings attached when she relocated to the small town of Willow Creek, Maryland, for the summer to help her sister recover from an accident, but who could anticipate getting roped into volunteering for the local Renaissance Faire alongside her teenaged niece? Or that the irritating and inscrutable schoolteacher in charge of the volunteers would be so annoying that she finds it impossible to stop thinking about him?

I am so drawn to this book. The cover is so cute and it’s enemies to lovers. Sign me up! ! I think I am going to save this for Contemporary-a-thon early next year…assuming there is one.

Rules for Vanishing by Kate Alice Marshall

In the faux-documentary style of The Blair Witch Project comes the campfire story of a missing girl, a vengeful ghost, and the girl who is determined to find her sister–at all costs

Okay the synopsis for this book is right up my alley! It sounds spooky and I am here for it. I put this on my Christmas wishlist so fingers crossed I get it. There’s no way I can save this read for the spooky season!

Storm by Brigid Kemmerer

Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her, Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys—all the ones she doesn’t want. Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different. Way different: he can control water—just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They’re powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death. And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.

Brigid Kemmerer is definitely one of my favorite authors. It’s so easy to get lost in her writing. One of my goals for next year is to (hopefully) read all of her work!

Thats all for this month. Next round will be in February!

Have you read these books? What have you added on Goodreads lately??

  1. I also really want to read Well Met. I like the idea for saving it for contemporaryathon… I might do that too! And I can’t wait to see how the Brigid Kemmerer project goes! If you like her older books, maybe I’ll check them out too!
