September TBR

Hi everyone!

This month’s TBR is all about new releases! There are a TON of new books coming out in September, but of course I can’t get to them all so I picked the three that I am the most excited for!

As always, Goodreads pages will be linked.

The Girl the Sea Gave Back by Adrienne Young

This is a companion to Sky in the Deep. It’s set ten years after the events of SKY. I’ve actually heard some mixed reviews about this book already, but I’m still really looking forward to it!

Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin

I swear, I have had this book preordered for 50 years. It will finally be in my hands within the next few days! This is about a witch and a witch hunter who are forced into marriage. You can’t tell me that doesn’t sound interesting!

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

If you follow Melanie from meltotheany on any social media, I’m sure you have seen this book. She has been giving it all the praise lately & now I’m really excited for it. Gideon the Ninth is an adult fantasy & that intimidates me a little but it will be fine….I hope!

Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett

While I’m waiting for the new releases to get to me, I’m obviously goin to need something else to read! I really enjoy Jenn Bennett’s writing and I thought a book from her would be a great one to separate all the fantasy.

I’m also planning to participate in the Contemporary-a-thon, but I haven’t finalized a TBR just yet. Be on the look out for that post sometime in the next couple weeks!

What are you planning to read this month?

  1. I know I’ve been back and forth on The Girl the Sea Gave Back, but I’m very excited to hear how you like it! I saw your review of Alex, Approximately on GoodReads, and I have to agree!
