I’m always findimg new books that interest me but I don’t always get the chance to talk about them. So I’ve decided that every other month I am going to share the last 5-10 books I have added to my *to read* shelf on Goodreads.
If you want to know more about any of these books, I always have the Goodreads page linked!
1. Jack of Hearts (and Other Parts) by L.C. Rosen
In this book we follow Jack who likes partying, makeup, and boys. He has been receiving mysterious love letters, but once he starts writing a sex advice column, the letters get creepy. Jack goes on a mission to find out who his secret admirer is…before things get dangerous.
This kind of gives me Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda vibes but like times ten. I’ve seen people say this book is super sex positive, fun, hilarious and swet. So yeah, I’m going to have to read this very soon.
2. Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
After a confrontation was made public, First Son Alex and Prince Henry of Wales are forced into a fake friendship as damage control. After spending time together, the two start to fall for each other.
This book sounds SO GOOD! It will be released on May 14 & you better bet I will be reading it ASAP!
3. Girls on the Verge by Sharon Biggs Waller
This is about a girl named Camille who goes on a road trip with friends to get an abortion.
I know the subject matter is pretty controversial, but I have heard some AMAZING things about this book. I’m sure it will be a super powerful & emotional read. It’s release date is April 9.
4. Clementine at Sunrise by Ashley Herring Blake
Ashley Herring Blake is a new auto buy author for me. This middle grade won’t be published until fall 2020, but once I saw the announcement I immediately added it to my Goodreads shelf!
5. Nikolai Duology #2 by Leigh Bardugo
So this doesn’t have a title nor does it have a release date, but I am SO READY FOR IT! I can’t wait to have this book in my hands. The wait is going to be excruciating!
Feel free to join in! What were the last five books added to your Goodreads shelf??
