We are almost a week into January, so I figured it was time to set some goals for 2019. Most of these are bookish, but I also wanted to share some everyday life goals as well!
Read 75 books: Last year I read a total of 105 books, so this one should be easy peasy lemon squeezy.
More readathons:Due to many things, I didn’t get to participate in as many readathons as I wanted to in 2018. So this year I am going to try to do at least four of them. There are a few I am eyeing right now, but if you know of any fun ones….let me know!
The Shadowhunter Chronicles: This is the year that I am going to read the Shadowhunter books. I want to read them all, including the ones coming out this year. Cassandra Clare is going to take over my life and I am 100% okay with that.
Try reading every 2019 Owlcrate book: I absolutely love Owlcrate! Their boxes are fantastic. It’s totally manageable to read all 12 book picks, right??
Do some buddy reads:I have never done a buddy read before. So I’m hoping this year that will change!
Reach 800 Bookstagram followers: Having toms of followers isn’t everything, but it is nice to see that people are enjoying your content.
Get more sleep: I’m a huge night owl. Like as I am typing this, it is 2:47 am. I feel like I’m much more productive during the night. I can run on 3-4 hours of sleep & be fine. One day, my bad habit will catch up to me. So I want to start getting that recommended 7-8 hours of sleep right now. I’ll miss you, 2:47.
Write more: I recently discovered that I enjoy writing. I want to put more of a focus on it. That could mean just here on the blog or maybe journaling. I’m still not sure, but I want to get more comfortable with it.
Random Acts of Kindness:This year I want to spread some love & put smiles on faces. A little kindness can go a long way.
I’d love to hear your goals for 2019!
Until next time…
